Wheelchair Sports SA Team

Each year Wheelchair Sports SA enters two teams into the City to Bay; the Elite Racing Team and the Fun Run Team

Elite Racing Team

This race consists of elite wheelchair athletes in racing style chairs that wish to compete at a fast and furious level. These athletes are from all over Australia and compete for prize money.

Fun Run Team

The Fun Run team is a chance for wheelchair participants to come out with able bodied family and friends to help raise money and have some fun at the same time. It’s also a great way to make new friends and be active. We cater for all abilities and fitness levels with the 3km, 6km and 12km events. Each team member will receive a team shirt as well as cooked breakfast in the Wigley Reserve at the completion of the race.
