Walker or Runner

    Are you a walker or a runner??

    Participants who would like to run some of the way but walk the majority must enter as a runner. Only participants who will walk the complete course should register as a walker.

    THE ON-LINE ENTRY SYSTEM IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ENTRIES USING A SINGLE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT.

    THIS INCLUDES TEAM, FAMILY AND INDIVIDUAL ENTRIES

    ENTRIES REQUIRING A COMBINATION OF CASH, CHEQUE OR CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS CAN ONLY BE PROCESSED BY THE CITY-BAY OFFICE,
    please forward entries either by post or in person.

    "Entry forms" are available on the City-Bay Fun Run website or from the office (73 Wakefield St, Adelaide), Joggers World, Mutual Community Outlets, Life. Be in it, major sports stores, fitness centres, Centro shopping centres. They will also be available in The Sunday Mail and The Advertiser Newspapers.

    Entries received in person or via mail must be accompanied by an individual entry form for all participants (children in a pram excepted).

    There are prizes for 'best fun dressed-up individual' and 'best fun dressed-up group'.

    Individual winners will receive a $100 voucher and each member of the best 'fun dressed-up group' will receive a $50 voucher. Parade and presentation on stage at 11.00am.

    Bring your own water bottle to ensure you don't dehydrate during the event

    There will be water at the start, 4 water stops along the route, one at the finish in the compound and another outside the compound in Colley & Wigley Reserves.

    POWERADE:
    Coca-Cola will supply Powerade to all contestants in the compound at the finish

    SPONSOR'S FOOD & DRINK STALL VENDORS
    Will be available in Colley and Wigley Reserves.

    FRUIT:
    Go for 2&5® will be sponsoring this section. . A mixture of fruit and vegetables will be available in Colley Reserve for you to sample. This includes apples and pears supplied by the Apple & Pear Growers, Citrus Board and Produce Markets.
    Remember to eat your 2 serves of fruit and 5 serves of vegetable each day.

    For your convenience we will truck your personal belongings from the start areas to the finish line.

    Do not give your baggage to anyone other than the official vehicle.
    BEWARE OF BOGUS BAGGAGE COLLECTORS


    The official baggage vehicle will be parked at;

    12KM - on the Eastern Carriageway of King William Rd, until 7.50am

    6KM - at the Centro Kurralta Centre car park until 8am for runners and 8.45am for walkers

    3KM - in the Junction Centre car park until 9.45am

    Put your belongings in the plastic bag provided and write your race number on the outside.
    Give it to the Baggage Truck Officials who will load it onto one of the two trucks.
    Collect your baggage from the safe compound on Colley Tce opposite Colley Reserve, approx 50m from the Compound exit.

    Toilets will be available at the:

    START - on Elder Park (North), the kiosk at the back of the Festival Theatre, Railway Station and Jolley's Boathouse.

    ALONG THE ROUTE - Cnr South Rd and Anzac Highway, Centro Kurralta Centre and Morphettville race course car park.

    FINISH - Colley Reserve and Wigley Reserve.


Massage  back to top of page

    SPORTSMED SA will provide massage and physiotherapy to entrants after the fun run. Their tent is in Colley Reserve on the Western Side.


First Aid  back to top of page

    St John Ambulance SA will be stationed at the start and at all major intersections along the route.

    They will be positioned at the finish inside the compound at the finish line and patrols will be on Colley and Wigley reserves.

    SA Ambulance will be on standby.


Race Numbers / Timing System   back to top of page

    ENTRY WILL BE WITH DAG TIMING CHIP AND RACE NUMBER ONLY
    Whilst the 3k event will not be timed, participants will need to wear a race number. Anyone not wearing a race number will not be able to compete.

    Children must be noted in the Participants Declaration on the entry form and the applicable entry fee paid. A child in a pram may accompany an adult free of charge (no number will be issued)

    Once you have registered the DAG and Race Number will be returned by post for all on-line and postal entries received before 10th September. In person entries can be collect their race number from the registration office.
