40th Anniversary Special Rate for groups with 40 or more members
Make the 40th running of the Sunday Mail City-Bay Fun Run part of your workplace or group's social calendar.
We are looking to attract 40,000+ participants in our 40th Anniversary event.
As a special offer for our 40th year, we are giving each group/team two free entries when you enter 40 or more team members; 4 free entries when you enter 80 or more team members, etc.
In 2011 34,676 people participated in this iconic event. A few participants are elite runners and walkers, however, the majority of participants enjoy the "fun" aspect; making the most of the entertainment en-route.
Team members can take up the challenge to achieve a personal best time or just complete the 12km, 6km or 3km course - you can walk or run. You do not need to do all the same distance.
There are prizes for 'best fun dressed-up individual' and 'best fun dressed-up group/team'. Parade and presentations are on stage at 11:00am. Your group/team can include family and friends, however, the family discount cannot be given within a team entry. Families wanting to have the family discount applied should key their own entry, making sure they select the Family option; they will be connected to your team/group by the common Team/Group name.
The 40/40 FREE ENTRIES discount MUST BE claimed by the team/group coordinator; call our office after all your entries have been keyed to the online system BUT prior to making payment.
If team/group members have keyed their own entries (to their own User Account), and you (as coordinator) want to claim the 40/40 FREE ENTRIES discount, please contact the office so that the discount can be applied to your User Account.

Book a Village site on Wigley Reserve or Brian Nadilo Reserve - Ngutinilla to enable your team to meet and recover at the end of the race. More details can be found from our home page.
If your group/team is being dropped off or collected by private buses please call our office so we can advise you of suitable locations to arrange the drop off or pick up.
